I have nearly 200 contacts entered in Joomla. Is there any way to transfer the info from those contacts into your component? Re-entering all of the info for those contacts would be prohibitive.

You could export your contacts from the database into excel, then modify the columns structure to match the JoomRoster structure. There may eventually be a pro version that allows migration from contacts to joomroster.
